Moreover, cultural insights are provided through footnotes, along with a designated system of abbreviations to highlight idioms and figures of speech for enhanced comprehension. The translation aims for a high degree of fidelity while ensuring readability in English, capturing the essence and cadence of Eastern linguistic expression. Aramaic, being the language of the first century, is preserved in the Peshitta, the earliest complete manuscript of the New Testament.

Janet Magiera possesses over 32 years of experience studying the Peshitta and has built a comprehensive database of the New Testament sourced from the Aramaic language. This effort has spawned an interlinear work, a concordance, parallel translations, and lexicon, along with the Light of the Word Ministry translation. Her dataset is currently integrated into BibleWorks software and will soon be available in Bible GT.
